I have a verizon phone and so does my mom, is it free if I call a another verizon costumer ?

It depends on what plan you have - most plans have free IN calling, which is verizon to verizon calling. You should call Verizon to check if it's on your plan or not.

Most Verizon plans have IN calling.  Unless you have one of the most expensive plans, I didn't check on those.  All the other ones do.

Yes. Verizon to Verizon is free. Its called the IN plan. :)  Also you can text them for free as long as they have a texting plan.  If they dont then you wont b able to text them for free and might be charged.
