Verizon turned off my home phone but not my internet?

Why is my home phone off but not the internet? Its the same plan? Or should I expect it to go off soon?

When nonpayment is the issue

Different law and regulations from the public utilities commision, and vary from state to state.  also it is controlled by 2 different switches

the dsl has a numbered day as well.

Here in WA state the dial tone is the last to go.  They will cut all the dsl, &extras, caller id, call waiting VMail etc many days before the dial tone

goes.

Verizon sucks! lmao Just try to to call and pay your bill if you havent paid it!

diffrent departments... your internet account will most likely be suspended soon... especiallay if a repair tech comes along and sees your line is suspended, and needs a good pair to the central office and disconnects your line completely at the pole...
