Verizon wireless text plan?

say you have 500 texts allowed. are those for anyone anywhere in the united states? like sending a text from the east coast to the west coast only costs one or is the 500 for local area only?

  1. The 500 text messages includes domestic texting. So basically you can text any where in the U.S.  


  2. It's allowed for around the country.

  3. It is for any mobile phone.

    Some numbers, such as contests and text-for-info numbers you see on TV, have an additional service charge for sending them a message.

    Keep in mind receiving a text message from someone takes 1 of your text credits, and sending will take another.

    I use Verizon and I have unlimited "in" texting to anyone with a Verizon wireless account, and those messages do not apply toward my 500 limit. I am not sure if this is something I signed up for, or if it comes generically with my service.
