Verizon wireless texting?

Question

My son has sent 166 text messages this month so far...

but verizon says he's sent 290 messages which is over his limit.

this has happened before but we thought it would end.

Get a plan like I have and don't worry anymore.  Unlimited everything.

They add up sent and received messages and combine them. And unlimited everything costs about I'm guessing 40 to 60 dollars. Unlimited texting is 30 dollars but if your military it's only like 15 dollars.

they charge for received and sent messages.so if he sent 166 and they say he used 290....it means he received 124 messages....not bad really for a kid...LOL...my kid goes way farther than that....for the unlimited texting package I believe it is 15 dollars per month.the unlimited internet is also 15 dollars a month. 15 dollars extra a month is alot for some people,but it gives you peace of mind he wont be racking up 30,40,50 dollars text bills...:) I have the family plan with Verizon....I pay $110 a month and I get 1400 minutes and unlimited text messaging.Then you have to add $10 per phone after that. I have three phones in the family so it adds like this....$110+10+10=$130 a month for plenty of minutes and unlimited texts.Ive also learned the customer service for Verizon is awesome...dial *611 from a verizon wireless phone and they will help you....its a free call....good luck...:)
