Arsenal’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thomas-Vermaelen-c35002 has admitted that he wants the Gunners to put on a solid performance in the second leg of the Champions League clash against AC Milan, in order to give the fans something to remember.
The North London club went on to suffer a very humiliating four goals to nil defeat at the hands of Milan in the first leg of their Champions League clash and as it stands, the team is going to play their second leg to redeem themselves in front of their
fans.
In theory, coming back from a four goal loss in the first leg is going to be close to impossible for the Gunners. However, they need to go into the game and give their fans something to remember the tie by.
Vermaelen, who had one of his worst games in an Arsenal shirt, went on to admit that the team was only focused on giving the fans something to remember, especially after they kept cheering the team on, despite them performing so poorly.
The defender, when talking about the club’s supporters is quoted to have said: "We have another game and the only thing we can do is show our pride and give 100 per cent”
"That is what we have to do.”
"We have to give something back to the fans who came all the way here, we disappointed them. The only thing we can do is try to get a good result in the home game.”

"The fans supported us all the way to Milan and we disappointed them, which is not good. We will try to give them something back when we next play at home."
The Gunners haven’t made many excuses for their defeat to the Italian club, but they now seem to be more than determined to go on and try and fight back in the second leg.
Arsene Wenger went on to claim that his team’s performance against Milan was arguably one of the worst he had ever seen and that it was simply unacceptable.
With so much pressure riding on the team’s shoulders going into the second leg, their performance could go two ways.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 could either go on and produce one of the best performances they have ever given, or the team could end up crumbling under the pressure and losing to Milan once again.
Nonetheless, it is now going to be a wait to see just how the team ends up performing in their second leg against the mighty Italians.
