before leaving the field for a treatment.
Though the extent of the right-arm medium pacer’s injury is yet to be determined, it has been reported that he might be sidelined for two weeks, which would mean Philander missing the New Year’s Test against the Black Caps at his home ground, Newlands, starting
on January 2.
