Verona City Centre, Lake Garda or other areas nearby better?

Planning on travelling around Italy in July. Will stop by in Verona for 2-3 days, not sure yet. What's better, staying at a b&b in the city centre, near Lake Garda or any other more interesting spot to see as a tourist who depends on public transport. I also want to go to Canevaworld Theme Park. Is it worth seeing? Any suggestion on cheap but good b&b's in the verona province? Thanks

Ciao! If you are used to the theme parks in the states, Canevaworld will be a dissappointment for you as it is very small. Verona is a very nice town. Do you plan on drving while you are here in Italy?

If you have to depend on public transport then your best bet to stay in Verona proper. I'm quite sure you'll find a B&B or a place at the Youth Hostel. Public transporttaion is pretty good here and Verona is is a great location: 1.5 hours from Venice & same from Milan. See Verona's Arena and stroll its park along the river.

Avoid the theme park - unless you go with a group of freinds to have fun. Visit Garda  rfor sure.... you'll find bus service close to the train station.
