  1. its amazing! defintley go. yes you get to go inside the rooms and everything. you get to see marie antoinette's room. how cool is that? under 18 is free. its €13.50 but after 4 o'clock its €10

  2. It's amazing.  Walking through the castle and thinking about the royals who lived there was chilling and incredible.

    The gardens are free: http://www.ehow.com/how_2205537_visit-ga...

  3. Yes. They have tours. I don't know what they are charging now.

  4. Yes...I went last summer while I was in France...It's really beautiful, worth the trip out into the country...the gardens are especially nice

  5. Entry to the Chateaux and the grounds is 25€ during the high season.

In addition to the main Chateaux there are two smaller palaces, the Grand and Petit Trianons and a variety of other historic buildings including the faux hamlet created for Marie Antoinette, gardens, fountains, an artificial lake and even a small working farm.

  6. nice idea to visit this place.

There are three parts of valuable interest : the palace itself, the gardens, the park.

If you go there, visit marie-antoinette's hamlet, it's my personal favorite place.

  7. Of course you can visit it. There are different types of self-guided tours at different prices based on what is included. Here is the link to their website: http://www.chateauversailles.fr/en/570_O...

Visiting the park and gardens is free. Going into the Palace can cost as little as 10 € after 3:00 pm (but book it ahead then because otherwise the line is too long for you to have time to enjoy anything). A full day is better to really appreciate it. Entrance is free for those under 18.
