  1. If his hang time is 0.516s, half is up and half is down so each half of the jump takes 0.258s. There is no initial velocity if we start at the top of his jump and calculate the distance back down to ground, in wich case d = at^2/2 = 9.8*(0.258)^2/2 = 0.326m
