  1. you should do squats during pre-season. its helps you jump higher.. do leg pressing.. jump roping.. nething to make your legs stronger..

plus.. you want to face the net dont be pointed towards the setter or whatever. face the net.. n your coaches should show you how to do an approach.. but if not.. then do right, left, right.. (your legs).. or if you are doing a 9 then do left right left.. n jump with both legs.. not one..

    hopefully this works. :D

  2. Honestly, Matt... get a program called "Air Alert 2." I bought it and it raised my vert soooo much. It's a 12 week program, so I did it over the summer. It's really simple and consists of all jumping excersizes as well and calf raises and others. You do it every other day and the rsult WILL show. I'm living proof of that. I had good natual abilities, but this program took that to a whole new level. I was jumping  through the roof.

  3. try this program. it's only eight weeks, so just repeat week eight.

other exercises that you could do are squats, wall sits, leg press, calf raises, jump rope, lunges, power jumps, anything that involves jumping. try leg lifts too, they work on your hamstrings and abs.
