Question:

Very, very, VERY gross question. Care to answer it for me?

You're probably going to laugh at me for even asking this ...

My best friend is a g*y guy. He's told me before that he has a hormonal imbalance which is why he's got a somewhat curvy body for a man, why his facial features are softer, etc.

The other night we were watching a movie, and he decided to play with my hair [cue laughing]. I was sitting between his legs with him on the bed and myself on the floor, and he was only wearing boxers. I didn't want to say anything, but I couldn't sit there for very long because I was absolutely disgusted by the smell that was coming from between his legs. It smelled like ... a really dirty vag. And no, it was NOT me -- I had just showered half an hour prior.

I've seen him naked, and he has a totally normal male package. I also know that the chances of it being from him hooking up with a girl are absolutely 110% impossible. He's as g*y as they come.

Any doctors, fellow g*y people, etc. care to explain this?!

-Ashley

  1. A friend is some one who tells you the right thing about your self. Tell him what you smelled and every thing that you had experienced that night. he has to feel embarrassed for what he is. it is for his own good. and don't run. Stay with him and show him how to be a man. and about the g*y thing, it could be nature or his thoughts. try to figure it out with the help of professionals. God be with you !

  2. Well maybe its because he didnt shower and his (balls) are sweaty it has a oder when u dot wash them for a day or two or 2 !! i hope that helps.....

  3. Just logically speaking, the sweat that accumulates between a mans legs and his scrotom area could be a breading ground for yeast. Is it that kind of strong odor like a yeast infection might resemble? So, cool for the guy, he can now brag that he has a yeast infection..."Not tonight, I have a yeast infection." I don't know if that's what this is but he can get over-the-counter topical meds(applied exterally) from the pharmacy/drug store to treat this. Don't know if it's bothersome to a guy if it's external. Don't know why it wouldn't spread, though. Possibly ask the pharmacist or advice nurse at your (his) docotr's office.

  4. Trust me: I've done both guys and gals, and the odor is the very same. Scrotums stink unless newly showered; so do pu$$ies.

Just one more reason to play in the shower before s*x!

  5. He may have an STD or just got back from the gym/s*x and needed a little shower.

  6. Well, this is a nice break from the more involved questions on here. I can answer it with an accordingly crude example: my boyfriend, post-physical exertion (or whenever it's above 70° -- he's a sweaty guy), is not allowed within 15 feet of me or closer than one wall's separation for similar reasons. Luckily, he's the most hygienic person I've met so the stench is short-lived. Let your friend know you smelled his funk and suggest baby powder and maybe a gentle loofah (to really scrub things away). It may be an infection (is he circumcised?), an STI, or just an inadequate washing technique.
