hi all,

Suppose there is a 60 years old male, who is always angry and makes a lot of trouble and quarrels with almost everyone, he is diabetes and have a little high blood pressure.

what is the best medication and dosage for him, or at least the medicationn name.

please it is very very important, coz he makes a lot alot of troubles and all people around him, began to hate him so much, and i don`t know what will this end at.

I don`t mean he is depressed, he just got very bad temper and sometimes aggressive , so any calm down medications, that works hard.

Also , please tell me , if this medications can be given in juice ,food ,water or tea or any other thing, thanks

  1. Really I think you need to talk to a doctor about this--or at least a pharmacist.  Is he on other medication??  I would be afraid to even suggest something and cannot think of anything either.  Good Luck.

  2. This isn't a question for this forum, the only ones qualified to answer would be a dr. or psychiatrist who have thoroughly examined this person. There may be nothing that can be done... he just might be a jerk.

  3. His aggressive behaviour could be induced by his poorly controled glucose level (blood sugar), or he could be depressed (very common with people who have other chronic diseases).

There are many psychotropic drugs that can help him tremendeously, once it is figured out what exactly the cause of his behaviour and aggression is.  Besides, because of his diabetes, you need to hear the advise of a physician (not yahoo!Answersers).  There are 4 different kinds of diabetes and each has different outcome, treatment, prognosis etc.,  it is a very complex metabolic disease.  You may not give someone medication without their consent, that would be only possible then he has been declared incompetent (from a physician or a judge).  Get some outside help (check your county/city health department, ask a hospital etc.  Good luck!

  4. He would need to go to a doctor and get medication prescribed that doesnt clash with the medication that he is already taking for diabetes and high blood pressure.

  5. Maybe suggest anger management.
