so at 3 in the morning somebody was calling from my cell phone number, but my phone was right next to me. The caller ID had my phone number and my name and when I called the number back it went to my cell phone. How could have this happened? I checked my phone log and I never called my house at 3 in the morning...I was sleeping and so was the rest of my family!! How is this possible?

  1. Depending on what kind of phone you have, someone could have cloned your SIM card. It's a kind of identity theft and I'd alert my cell phone provider. You'll end up with calls you never made if this is the case.

  2. Sounds like somebody is playing a prank on you.

  3. u can do the alralm clock it works like that or maybe...sleep tpying i know it sounds stupid but it could be true or it was a family prank

  4. did you some how have your calls forwarded or something?

  5. There are also websites where you can change how your phone number shows on a caller ID. Someone may have dont this to make it look like they were calling from your phone.  It's called caller ID spoofing.
