  1. you should show your mom that she can trust you to go back to school and that she doesn't have to worry

  2. hi

im home schooled too, its lonley i know!

dont worry tests are tests if you do rubbish they still have to except you in the school!

go for it, because its better to have friends  than a good education!

if you cant solcalize you might not get a job, you need freinds to keep you happy.

  3. omg!!!! tell robinhatesheremail@yahoo.com that homeschooling sucks!!!  please!!!!

  4. Teaching yourself ??  You are not being taught through a Parent, a tutor, an online high school ?

But going back for socialization makes no sense. If you have TRUE "friends" then why can you not socialize with them outside of school, did they suddenly forget where you live?

eeyore68 - speaks from ignorance - I homeschooled for 13 years (along with over 2 million homeschoolers in the US alone) - all 4 of my kids graduated with the lowest GPA being a 3.8 - there are no such statistics that show homeschooled children lack social skills - in fact they are more mature in handling situations, becaue they have been socialized by responsible adults, instead of a group of immature teens like themselves. Kids need guidance from adults not other kids!!

My son was the last to graduate - and read at a 1st year college level by age 13!!

I wonder if those who do not support homeschool ever take a look at the statistics, or do they simply listen to the very few negative stories surrounding homeschooled children where the Parents obviously did not care to be dedicated to their children.

I swear I'm going to purchase that bumper sticker that reads : I sipport publick edcukasion - those poor kids are being churned out, and more than half cannot read!!!

  5. Does home school include Y/A?

  6. Hunny, going back to school would be great, I believe this with all of my heart, schools are a place to get our education but it is also a place to get educated on how to deal with lifes dilemmas, with people you like and dislike.  I have three teens also, one has just graduated then I have two that are seniors.  I would never encourage them to stay at home.  You can get extra help with what ever you need from the teachers, tutors, and peers in your school, go back, your mom needs to know that schooling not only helps your education but its your ability to learn to cope with everyday things and with people.

    Good Luck

  7. i am also home schooled i am in the 8th grade,i am on the k12 online school but, next year i have decided to go back to school.i am going to a different school than most of my friends and am kinda worried about if i can deal with it so you and i are kinda in the same situation!all i can tell you is get through the rest of the year and next year go back to school! good luck :)
