Question:

Very nervous at parking?

Ok so I'm 16 and I just got my license like two days ago. I live in Ohio. I haven't parked much since my in-cars like 1 month ago but now that I have my license I'm really nervous because I'm driving alone. When I park I feel as though I'm going too close to the cars on either side of me, if I have cars on both sides. I was wondering if there is a good way to judge distance when parking. I'm scared I'm going to hit one of the cars and loose my license or something. That is one of my biggest fears s******g up and some how losing the license I just got.

Does anyone have hints or advice to help me be less afraid of parking.?Also, can you lose your license from something as simple as hitting a car in a parking lot while trying to park? Once again I live in Ohio.

Thank you for your time.

  1. In a parking lot, park far away from others. Continue to practice with a parent or something.

  2. use your mirrors..plz dont be one of those people that think they can park and just turn around in middle of car..like your sitting in seat and you push your self aroudn to your right to look out window....statistically not a smart thing...i am 18..and i literally can park like any pro car driver..i have my cars dimensions down to where i can park in an area that i only have 6" extra on the sides and back of my car..

just practice...dont get nervous..take your time..no rush to park.if someone honks..just forget about them..if they hit you its prob gonna be there fault so..

  3. Practice makes perfect
