hi, I am 15 weeks preg, and last night while I was laying by my husband falling asleep, his hand was on my hip/side, and I found it extremely uncomfortable but ive never found it uncomfortable before- almost like his hand/arm was causing to much pressure to the area, so i moved his arm like, 3 times (he was asleep) and finally settled on his hand being on my thigh, and that didn't hurt. does this sound odd to anyone?? Is it normal to feel pressure even from something like that??

  1. yes its normal, i went through the exact same thing. any pressure right now will feel like too much on your sensitive growing uterus, dont be alarmed.

  2. i think its just the baby growing and moving around but talk to your ob about it. they can pinpoint much better than us.

  3. I've never been pregnant before I think it would be normal if you don't feel that it's not.

  4. It happens :) During my 1st preg. I had to reposition my husband's hands and arms and body a million times until I was comfy from the first trimester...with my 2nd I didn't start feeling that way until the 2nd trimester. You're entire body is going through major changes. It's completely normal.

  5. very normal...congrats tho

  6. When i was pregnant I didn't;t like that either it was not only annoying but uncomfortable

  7. From what I understand it is normal. I'm only six weeks pregnant and I can't sleep on my stomach any more because it's uncomfortable. My boyfriend was rubbing my lower back when we went out the other night, and the constant sensation was also extremely uncomfortable. After doing some research, I've determined that this normal. Your body is changing at it's own pace and your skin is getting a lot of hormone therapy that will eventually help it stretch out. Good luck!

  8. Im 18 weeks pregnant and when my fiance has his hand on my belly, even when he is awake, I feel that it is more pressure than when I have my hand on it. It is def normal! Congrats!

  9. Totally normal. My husband does it all the time and I always have to ask him to move his arm because it hurts.

  10. Yes, its normal, your body is going through something very different right now, your hips are growing along with the rest of your body, it is very normal to feel this way.

My son was born Valentines day 2008!!! congrats!
