Very short but terrifying dream?

Question

The weirdest thing for me was that I didn't see anything, it was all feeling and hearing. I was facefirst in a box during the entire dream.

The actual feelings you felt while sleeping are not uncommon for dreamers, I don't know why or how they happen, but I think it's just a very conscience way of sleeping. ( if that makes any sense)

Glass

The princess and "him" (unidentified) are simply two opposing sides of yourself, while you prefer to be the helpless witness/victim, disclaiming responsibility for all the mayhem. It's the drama queen part of you making a no-nonsense presentation, then there's the mysterious "him" you won't describe doing the damage.

The dream suggests you wished you could have protected some friend but felt helpless to do so.  I would guess at some point you were very close and very open to the person but something happened to close off communications.  You now feel guilty that you did not do something and feel  you need to be punished.

The idea of feeling and hearing rather than seeing suggest you might be hiding from some of these feelings and do not want to look too closely at things because you are afraid of what you might discover.

thats weird, i have had dreams similar to this before, sometimes i will dream someone is shooting a gun at me and i will wake up jumping up out of the way realizing i was only dreaming, also i have had dreams before that i was being chased by the police and i had to run away but i was running so slow and i could feel them getting closer and closer until i woke up. usually when i dream things like this i have a lot on my mind or am scared or something, that may be the problem with you.
