Very shy person (me) wants to ask a girl out?

i am am so shy. i like this girl alot and i dont know how to say it. she's been my friend for about 8th grade and im in 9th so ive known her for about 2yrs. and how do i know if she has feelings for me.oh, and i so scored today! she gave me her phonenumber and we texted for about 15min. man i was very happy. can anyone help!?

you are in good shape right now, I have never been in that good of a position.  

next time you see her, in a "safe" environment just ask her if she would like to hang out.  or ask her to do some activity with you.  skiing, mountain biking, movie, whatever.

your cute... she probably does like you.. if she gave you her number and was texting you... she probably feels that you like her.. just ask her out and don't be afraid if she says no.. just take it easy and say alright.. if we cant be BF and GF then we will remain friends.. good luck...

Just hint around and flirt and see if she flirts back..

If she texted you today for like 15 minutes and gave you her phone number it shows that she was interested in something a little more.

Just give it time!
