I am 10 weeks and suddenly this morning I was just walking around then almost fell. I have been very dizzy for about 10 minutes and still can't stand up. I called my husband to come home and take me the dr but am I over reacting?

  1. You might want to go get your blood checked, to make sure you dont have anemia.

  2. Usually between 10-12 weeks your blood supply is lowering and you pick up a new symptom - dizziness! If you can't walk I think it is good that you go to your doctor to see if your blood pressure is really low, but generally it's not too much to worry about.

  3. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I would get so dizzy and light headed, I would see little spots. And during my pregnancy, I fainted 5 different times and I went to see my doctor, and I have very low blood pressure and I had preeclampsia so maybe you should go see your doctor.

  4. I know I am anemic and had this strong dizziness while i was about 7 months (if im not mistaken). I was so dizzy that I threw up several times, regardless of the effort to move my face for even juz an inch. My husband made a hot noodle soup for me and it helped a lot. Rest and relax my dear.

  5. its normal to get dizzy. just take your time standing up. If it's bad like your saying I wouldn't hesitate going to the Doctor.

  6. You are not overreacting at all. It could be a range of things, but going to the doc at the first sign is the smartest thing you could do. I had a similar experience and it turned out that my little bundle of joy was like a sponge for all the iron in my body! I was borderline anemic for the better part of my pregnancy and am sure glad I had it checked out before I passed out.

  7. Please just take bed rest, early stage is always stressful.

  8. of course i am not a doc, but i do know that feeling dizzy and or lightheaded during pregnancy can be totally normal. Especially when u are hungry, over-exerting, going from sitting to standing and stuff like that. i *think* it has something to do with your body producing extra blood, therefore changing your blood pressure. I forget the exact reason, my son is 8 months old now, but i do know that it is ok! Always best to check with your dr. though. Good luck!

  9. Id say go to the doctor
