Very very upset?

Hey. Two things have happend tonight.

1. I was informed that my Nan has died. This has upset me a lot as I was very close to her.

2. Today at school, I said some things that have really really, upset the girl I like.

I was talking to her today, and I thought she said something (which she didn't), as in something grotty. So I told a few people what she said in a laughfing manner.

I then find out she didn't say these things and that she is really upset over them.

I don't know what to do! Her friend told me how she is upset.

I don't know how or what to say to her on Monday at school.

So what do I do? How do I deal with these two things?

  1. First off, I am sorry to hear about your Nan. Everyone grieves in their own way so don't feel bad if you need to cry, lean on someone for support, or talk with someone. As ridiculous and impossible and is sounds, time does heal. It doesn't make you forget, but it does fade the sadness.

As far as the girl goes - all you can do is approach her to see if she is willing to talk. If so, then apologize and own up to your mistake. If she won't talk to you, you may just have to let her cool down awhile.

    Good luck.

  2. im sry that ur nan died, i think u should tell the girl u like it was a accident and u didnt mean to hurt her feelings and she she may fell better

  3. 1) Grieve as much as you like, im sorry to hear this. But try and celebrate her life.

    2) I would call up the girl and apologise, then dont call or it will seem forced, but make sure the people you told know its not true.

Even if she did say it, you shouldnt have laughed about her to others, this will teach you a good lesson.

    Sorry about your nan.
