Very weird bug question

Question

this has been bugging me all day lol. yesterday i was watching 3 kids whom brought over a blackish cricket(one leg was missing) it was a good size i made them let him go in the bush next door we made sure he was on the ground we then left to the pool in the car and about 7 hours later i go in my linen closet and get the scale to weight myself which was on the floor and i slid it out on my wod floor and what comes out with it! the same cricket(we dont have them around here anyways and his leg was gone he was distintive looking) this was weird how the h**l did it get in my house and in there?! the window were closed and so on and then so i made the kids take him down the street and hopefully hes gone can anyone help me figure this out its soooo weird,thanks!

Sit your kids down, one of them must not have left him alone after you first told them to.
