Vespa Lovers!? Vespa LX 150 or Vespa LX 50?

I hope a lot of you respond. I used to ride go-carts and mini-bikes when I was a teen, but that is as far as my non-car driving has gone. I am a little nervous about speed and how I will be able to handle it. I live in a small town that has a radius of about 6-7 miles and 15,000 people. It is very easy to get around town and speed limits are low that is why I was leaning toward the LX 50 (not to mention the price of them). However, I know that once I get the hang of the 50 and feel confident in riding, I may feel confined to town and be unable to venture out. I was wondering what has been your experience with the 50 or 150, and what do you feel would be the better choice? Also wondering, how long they last? I have heard great things about the reliablity, but I'm wondering from owners how long have they seen them last?

I will go for the LX 150 if I were you. First of all, I think you are the one who know what really suit your needs best, and it seems you already concern about getting a LX 50, so why bother?! Just go for LX 150!

I'm actually thinking of getting one (probably GRANTURISMO) in the coming spring, so I can enjoy it in New York City while the weather getting better and better!
