Vespa travel in italy?

Hello

My friend and i both want to buy a vespa and travel italy for about a month. We are from australia and are planning on coming over next year around may. At the end of our vespa adventure sell the bikes back to the owner , i know for this to happen we would have the ok from the prev owners to have them insured as the law is kinda funny about outsiders buying them. Has anyone done this and does anyone have any advise or information that would be useful.

Ciao

Linda

  1. Do you really need to be tied to your vespas . You may

want to travel from place to place and rent as you go.

Rainy days are going to wind up keeping you stuck to a place where otherwise you could have hopped a train and been

in a sunny region enjoying your time. Then there's theft and

worrying about them. Is it really worth it. By the way, how much

luggage and goods can you fit on your vespas. Are you going

to ship your stuff from place to place.

Not being negative here...Just making sure you've thought

this whole thing out... There are a few books out by some people who have traveled around the world on motorbikes.

Check the sections where they speak of Italy. Even websites.

Whatever you do...It sounds like your gonna have a thrill....

Enjoy and have many safe miles whatever you do..
