Can you describe what going through vet school is like? What kind of classes are you taking? How did you get there?

I am starting my freshman year,  my first year of classes includes vet anatomy, vet physiology, vet immunology, diagnostic imaging, breed identification.  I plan on being in class from 8am to 4pm.  I was accepted the first time I applied but have been a vet tech for eight years.  One thing that was recommended to me was to get as much animal experience as possible before applying and also to take high undergrad science courses and get good grades.  The process is very stressful but also really really rewarding!!  I am so excited to start school!  Good luck and above all remember to persevere!
