  1. If, in addition to your vet tech certification, you have some work experience with farm animals (goats, chickens, cows, beasts of burden, etc.) and excellent work references, you could look into not only the PeaceCorps, but also UN Volunteers, Veterinarians without Borders / Vétérinaires sans Frontières, and any animal welfare group working overseas.

All the better if you can work in another language (French for Africa and some countries in Asia, Spanish for Central and South America, Russian for Eastern Europe, etc.).

Go to the PeaceCorps web site for more informaiton.

  2. hey i was drawn by ur pic, if u look like that ur so beautiful, orri i couldnt help, luv me!!

  3. I believe anyone with such talent and skills will be welcomed by the Peace Corps. You could help individuals overseas take care of their animals which they depend on for their livelihood.

If not, their are many other overseas programs that work for the welfare of animals. Just google it. Honeslty I am annoyed because I want to help kids, and I've seen more programs for helping African animals then for helping african children! Grr!

  4. A vet tech can certainly join the Peace Corps. And there are plenty of agriculture positions. But, it can be tricky to get a specific job. There are a lot of matches that need to be made.

Your best bet is to contact your local PC headquarters and speak with a recruiter.
