Question:

Vet technologist...How to get there?

I had to drop out of high school in the middle of my junior year and try for my GED at DBCC. I've got about a month left before I take the test and was wondering what to do after. I want to go for my bachelor's degree, but I have to work and maintain a home. Does taking an online course for my degrees have any serious effects on my future or is there another way to still get where I want and not over do it? Any suggestions???

PS: I Live in Deland, FL so if you have a school in mind, let me know.

  1. To be a registered vet tech you need some basic courses before you can apply to tech school (biology, micro, etc...) Tech school is two years in most areas. I think you only get an associates degree. Research your area colleges and see which ones offer the program and then get a brochure about what steps you need to take.

I took some of my basics on-line. There is no problems w/ doing that.
