Veterinary nurse question!?

Question

to become a VN do you have to have a diploma in animal care? or can you have a national diploma in animal Management?

because im off this year to college to get a ND in animal management and im just thinking i might want to become a VN so does it matter which one you have??

oh and i know you have to go train to be a nurse.. just wondered which is better to have.

You don't need either of those. You can either find a veterinary practice willing to take you on and train you by sending you to college for day release, or you can go to university with work placement blocks throughout the course. But if you still wanted to do the national diploma first then it might help you to find a training practice afterwards.
