Vets and their customers!?

how are customers attracted and their numbers increased for a vet's practise. And how are they cared for in order for then to return.

Vets like doctors don't need to advertise there business, there something anyone with a pet requires. Most people choose a new vet by location, distance from home etc. There numbers will increase naturally over time when they have established themselves in the community. Word of mouth is really the only form of advertsing or marketing a vet needs to be successful. A good vet will listen to any owners worries, make a proper and exstensive check up of the animal and offer your choices in treatment. People return to vets like they do a doctor, you register and then go back as and when you need to. As long as the vet provides a good service and the prices are good people will return for years. That is how vets stay in practise by returning customers not so much new onces!
