Vets dont know whats wrong with my cat

Question

I asked yesterday id anyone knew what it was. I see my vet today and she doesnt know whats the matter with her. Basicly she isnt eating a lot, being sick and gets an upset tummy. She weighed 3.3KG 6 weeks ago and today she weighs 2.7KG and needs to be atlease 4KG, The vet gave me meds to stop her throwing up, she takes these 3 times a day, a antibiotic shot *incase of an infection), de flea de worm (she has neither she was done 6 weeks ago, but best to be careful).

So she has a Xray and Blood tests on thursday to see what is wrong, vet said her tummy is swollen too. And some things it could be is womb infection (she is due to get spayed when she is strong enough), Lucemia, FIV or another infection.

I really dont know what to do, Lilly is such a loving cat and so gentle. I feel so bad she is a bag of bones!

Has anyone else experienced this with there cats? Please Help

Oh and she is 1 1/2 year.

Give the vets are chance! Obviously investigations are needed here to find out what's wrong with the cat. Weight loss and loss of appetite are kind of general signs of illness - that's why they've xrays and done blood tests, to start getting an idea of what's wrong with her. They've already narrowed it down to some possibilities as you've said - pyometra, leukaemia and/or FIV.

It's a great shame this has happened but the cat is in the best hands. People on here may give answers like 'oh my cat was like that and she was suffering from xyz'. Answers like that don't necessarily have anything to do with what's going on with YOUR cat, remember that.
