Vettori, Franklin included in World T20 squad – Cricket News Update
Experienced campaigners, James Franklin and Daniel Vettori, have been included in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758.
Vettori, who declared his intentions to come out of T20 retirement in June, recently suffered a groin injury during the tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750, which starts from August 23.
However, the management is hopeful that their premier spinner will recover in time to represent the country in the mega-event, beginning this September.
Franklin was expected to feature for the Black Caps after being named in the current group which takes on the Men in Blue. The all-rounder has plenty of experience of playing on sub-continental pitches and will further provide knowledge to the younger lot.
He missed the two-match T20 series against the Windies, owing to his commitments with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Essex-c783.

The other notable addition comes in the shape of fast bowler, Adam Milne, who last represented the national team in 2010 as an 18-year-old. He however, has impressed the selectors with his development as an out an out seamer over the past 18 months.

The team’s final preparation for the mega-event includes the two T20Is against India on Sep 8 and 11.
