Vettori unhappy with rotation policy

Black Caps chief selector Mark Greatbatch said that rotation policy is in but is not here to stay. He said, “We've had several objectives: the first one is to win matches and the series, that's paramount. We've also got a World Cup and we want to make sure
the all the 15 players get some cricket during this period”. On the other hand, coach and captain want the most tenacious 11 because they want to win and gain momentum ahead of World Cup, the players also accord to this.

Vettori refused the idea that Mills has become their second choice bowler for the World Cup after Tim Southee and Hamish Bennett being their first choice for the mega event.
Veteran Kiwi captain said, “He's not in the 12 for this game but we're hoping to get him a couple of chances later in the series because he has bowled so well for us for a long time. I'm pretty sure he's still in the top 10 of one-day bowling rankings. He's
done a great job for me since I got captaincy.”
He highlighted Kyle’s importance by saying that he has been amongst the highest wicket-takers in three series that Black Caps played recently, and was also among the highest run-getters for his country.
New Zealand selectors Mark Greatbatch, Glenn Turner and Lance Cairns left Mills, Franklin and Oram out of the playing XI. Oram, however, is the 12th man in the 4th ODI against Pakistan. Franklin was also dropped from third ODI.
