VfB Stuttgart defender Serdar Tasci aiming for a move to Juventus – Bundesliga news
VfB Stuttgart and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 international defender Serdar Tasci is keen to make a move to Italy for Juventus.
The beleaguered Bundesliga outfit http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfB-Stuttgart-c40879 may see the defender leaving the club by the end of current 2010-11 season.
According to the player’s agent, Maurizio Guadino, it is believed that Tasci is keen to ply his trade in the Serie A with Juventus as his desirable club. While talking to the media, Guadino said that he is monitoring Stuttgart’s situation right now and believes
that Stuttgart may see the player depart for greener pastures in June 2011.
“We are currently focusing on the situation at Stuttgart. Serdar wants to solve the tricky situation in the table first,” said Guadino.
The 23-year-old defender of Turkish origin is the product of the Stuttgart youth system and has represented the club in over 100 games since his debut back in 2006.
Tasci was also linked with a move to the Turin giants in summer of 2010 but for unknown reasons, the transfer deal broke through. It now seems that Juventus are still looking to sign the young defender as they look to improve the current squad for the next
season.
Furthermore, Stuttgart’s current place in the German Bundesliga is another reason why Tasci may seek a new club. The club is currently 13th in the Bundesliga with 28 points and only a better goal difference than that of Saint Pauli is keeping
them out of the dreaded relegation zone.
Recently, Stuttgart defeated Saint Pauli 2-1 but the club may fall in the relegation zone once again as in the next two weeks, the struggling side will come across two tricky ties against Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen. The two sides are also facing a tough
task to survive in the Bundesliga with Wolfsburg already in the relegation zone.
In the current season, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Serdar-Tasci-c32929 has played 18 games for Stuttgart and has been the only ‘better’ defender in the side that has performed abysmally so far. It seems that even if Stuttgart manage to stay in the Bundesliga next season, Tasci would still
want to move on to a club where he can compete for trophies.
