VfB Stuttgart manager Bruno Labbadia targets Borussia Monchengladbach - Bundesliga news
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bruno-c8098 Labbadia has all eyes fixed upon his team’s upcoming encounter against Borussia Monchengladbach. The Swabians will make a trip to Borussia Park on Saturday, August 13, with the ambition of maintaining their hundred percent record.
Labbadia mentioned that it won’t be an easy game as the Foals would be brimming with confidence after defeating Bayern Munich last Sunday.
The 45-year-old manager urged his side to take one game at a time and also warned them against any complacency. Labbadia confirmed about injuries to two of his top players in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Shinji-Okazaki-c33366. Both players suffered knocks while on international
duty with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Japan-c2928 respectively. The duo has still not been ruled out of Saturday’s encounter as the manager has insisted on waiting until the last hour before the kick-off.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hamburger-SV-c39485 manager was pleased to have made a winning start to this year’s campaign but wanted his side to exhibit the same kind of form and composure in all the future assignments. He ruled out the fact that his team would be favourites going
into the game against Foals despite winning the opening game comprehensively.
While talking to a local newspaper, the manager enthused, "We are happy to take the euphoria from the Schalke game with us, but we know how to evaluate the result realistically. The season has only just begun and we cannot believe that everything is already
good. We still have a mountain of work ahead of us and we knew that from day one. In Gladbach, we will have to play at least as well as we did against Schalke - only then can we win."
Monchengladbach manager Lucien Favre, on the other hand, was confident about his team’s success against the Swabians on Saturday. He claimed that the win over Bayern was not a fluke and his side will prove it once they host Stuttgart later this evening.
Gladbach are expected to retain the same line-up that won last Sunday, while Stuttgart might be forced into making couple of changes due to injury concerns.
