VfB Stuttgart midfielder Patrick Funk joins St. Pauli on a two-year loan deal – Bundesliga news
VfB Stuttgart midfielder, Patrick Funk, has joined 2.Bundesliga side St. Pauli on loan for the next two seasons. The midfielder will join St. Pauli, who were relegated from the Bundesliga last season, before the next season starts as the club look to rebuild
in a bid to return to the first division.
St. Pauli had a disastrous season last term and finished at the bottom of the league with 29 points with a staggering 21 losses in 34 games. The side was relegated along with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Berlin-c7536 and FC

He stated that he is looking forward to the start of the next season and wants to play his part in the club’s success.

The club’s new manager, Andre Schubert, is also elated to have acquired the midfielder. He voiced his admiration towards the Germany U-21 international and claimed that the player is a valuable addition to the squad. He added that the midfielder has had
ample experience at the top at a very young age and that he would surely be a success at the Millerntor Stadion.
“Having an Under-21 midfielder in the ranks is always a good thing. Patrick's playing at a high level already despite his youth. He's had excellent defensive training and he's got a good character - he'll fit in perfectly here,” the manager insisted.
