VfB Stuttgart’s Zdravko Kuzmanovic admits the team played poorly against Hamburg- Bundesliga news

and were in the lead at half-time but a couple of mistakes cost them all three points at the end of the day.

Kuzmanovic claimed that his side played really well in the first-half and scored an early goal through Harnik. He rued missed opportunities and insisted that Stuttgart had the chance to double the scoring and finish the game early
on but they missed it.
“We played very well in the first half and took the lead early on. Then we missed a great opportunity make it 2-0, and pretty much wrap things up. We tried everything in our power to get back into the game, right through to the
finish and created one or two chances. Unfortunately none of them went in,” he was quoted as saying in an interview to Bundesliga.de.
The Serbian international added that it was a dismal performance in the second-half which led to the defeat in the end and admitted that his side were simply not good enough after the interval.
“We let HSV back into the game and we all made the sort of mistakes we were trying to avoid. We just weren't good enough in the second half,” he concluded.
Stuttgart have slipped to the seventh place on the standings table in the Bundesliga with 10 points after winning three games from the seven played, losing three in the process. The club will next face FC Kaiserslautern at the
Fritz-Walter-Stadium on Friday, September 30 in search of their fourth win of the campaign.
