VfL Wolfsburg manager Felix Magath has stated that he is pleased with the team’s brilliant 4-1 win over Hannover this weekend. The boss stated that the side is improving consistently and regarded the win as the best result so far
in the league for Wolfsburg. He remained hopeful that the team continues with the good results and keeps on with the winning run.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952 secured their fifth win in the Bundesliga and are currently 12th on the league standings table with 16 points from the 13 games played. The team has lost a staggering seven times until now and have a goal
difference of -7.
Magath’s side won the game at the Volkswagen Arena courtesy a brace from Hasan Salihamidzic and goals from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alexander-Madlung-c4847.
Felix Magath expressed his delight on the stunning performance and admitted that the team is on the right track now. He insisted that the displays on the field have surely improved in the past few weeks and the side is on its way
up. The tactician added that he knows his best team and the formation which is the most suitable so the results will hopefully keep coming.
“I'm pleased with the improvements. The team is growing together, but the transition takes time. This was our best performance in the Bundesliga. We stayed tight like never before. We've now found a formation that we can build
around,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Hannover boss Mirko Slomka was disappointed with the second-half performance of his team. He admitted that the team played really well in the first period but were poor after the interval as they failed to create enough chances.
“In the first half we came up against a very strong, well organised opponent. Their new set-up created a few problems for us and we struggled to get a grip on the game,” he concluded.
Wolfsburg will next take on league bottom side FC Augsburg at the SGL Arena on Saturday, November 26. A win Die Wolfe in the next fixture would surely take them in the top ten as the team looks to finish in the top six at the end
of the season.
