VfL Wolfsburg manager Felix Magath wants to recruit a striker during the summer - Bundesliga news

Magath mentioned that he eagerly wanted to guide his team through to the
next round but considered himself unfortunate to miss out on an opportunity.
He also reserved praise for the opponents, who were certainly the underdogs prior to start of the game, and felt that it was a one man show that deprived Wolfsburg from going through to the next stage.
The Manager urged the higher officials to allow him to invest more in order to put up a decent fight during the upcoming campaign. He reckoned that the club requires a top notch striker, and desperately wanted to recruit fresh pair of legs as the new campaign
approaches nearer.

The 58-year-old also reckoned that the young German would best suit Die Wolfe setup and therefore demanded investment from the higher authorities to confirm the
transfer of the 22-year-old.
In an interview to the club’s website, Magath expressed utter disappointment over his team’s loss and enthused, "I've misjudged the team. We cannot start in the Bundesliga, something has to change. Now, for example, to speak about a No.10 would be the wrong
approach, because we have to find the best solution."
The former Schalke Manager was confident ahead of the new Bundesliga season and seemed determined to repeat the performance of the 2008/09 campaign, where the club managed to win the title.
