VfL Wolfsburg sign duo Bjarne Thoelke and Maximilian Arnold- Bundesliga news

from the summer and have added two more talented youngsters to an already impressive squad.
Wolfsburg are struggling in 13th place on the Bundesliga standings table at the moment with only nine points from the eight games played and have already suffered five defeats in the campaign.
Club manager Felix Magath expressed his delight on the signings and insisted that the players have a bright future at the club. He claimed that Thoelke has the potential to break into the starting eleven and that the club would
have signed him a lot sooner of he had not suffered an injury at the start of the season.
“Bjarne Thoelke is a talented youngster with a Bundesliga future. He has what it takes to make the step up into the first team in his position and it is just a shame that he was injured in pre-season otherwise he would have signed
on a lot sooner,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Bjarne Thoelke was elated with the contract and stated that he is happy to start his career with the Bundesliga outfit. He admitted that he is motivated and wants to take the club to heights of success.
“I am delighted to be able to start my professional career at Wolfsburg. It is a huge motivation for me and I really would like to advance step by step,” the defender said.
The second signing Maximilian Arnold, who is just 17-years old, claimed that it is a huge step forward in his playing career and that he will definitely work hard to develop as a player.
“Still, it is just one step forward and I know I'll have to work hard if I want to develop,” he concluded.
