VfL Wolfsburg’s Alexander Hleb rates Barcelona and Real Madrid ‘better teams’ than Bayern Munich

Hleb was talking in the wake of Bayern’s qualification to the knock-out stages of the UEFA Champions League. He congratulated the fellow Bundesliga club for not only going through but also finishing atop group A.
The winger-c*m-midfielder was of the view that Bayern are not good enough to beat the likes of Barcelona or Real Madrid. He opined that the Bavarian giants could meet any of the two sides in their Champions League journey and will probably finish second
best.
Hleb admitted to Bayern’s dominance in the Bundesliga but reminded them of the huge difference between the two competitions. He reckoned that Jupp Heynckes’ men could well win the German league this term but still have to come a long way in order to even
threat the Catalan giants or Los Blancos.

"Bayern Munich obviously have a great team as well. However, Barcelona and Real Madrid are fantastic teams. I don't think Bayern stand a chance against them. They are unstoppable in my opinion.”

"There is no-one better than Messi. You can't even compare Gotze to Messi. The gap between those two is immense and he will not become as good as Messi, who is up there with [Diego] Maradona." Hleb concluded,
