Vhs troubleshooting--spits tape out?

we have a combo dvd/vhs and use the vhs for older kiddie videos. But we just found an old school Care Bears vhs and the vcr spits it back out. it does not do this with our other vhs tapes,a and we have some really old ones. Whats up?? THANKS.

On the back of the cassette ,between the reels,there is a small hole cover with a piece of plastic.Use a needle to push this piece of plastic inside the cassette and try to see if you can turn the reels by hand.If you can't it means that the tape is blocked inside the cassette and this is the reason why your VHS player spits it out.To fix this problem you must take apart the cassette!!!

    Also check if it is a VHS cassette(Beta-max cassette looks the same but the distance between the reels is smaller)!!

    And check if the plastic case of the tape isn't damage!!!
