  1. Verizon  company sold their assets in Puerto Rico..

    www.endi.com

  2. Not more Verizon in P.R. U will have signal in Puerto Rico but there are no offices or retailers. They sold the company on July or August 2007. Now they are Claro. If u are moving to P.R u can open a new account with Claro, then u send Verizon a letter explaining that u change to Claro and they don't charge u the termination fee. But if u are just coming on vacations it will be in the coverage area so they don't gonna charge  roaming or something like that.

  3. U will definately have signal over here in Puerto Rico but there are no reatailers, offices or anything like that from Verizon here in Puerto Rico anymore.  Like the other ppl said they sold it and Now they are called " CLARO" ... but again .. it's not the same company as Verizon.

  4. Verizon?  NOT ANYMORE, they sold the company.

  5. Verizon sold their share in the Puerto Rico Telephone Company (PRTC) recently. Verizon cell phones still work in Puerto Rico, however they are no retailers on the island. You would have to buy a cell phone from a retailer in the United States.

  6. Verizon sold their share of PRT. the cell phone from Verizon are still working but with the of Claro.
