I've been taking a low dose of vicodin and flexeril for over two months for a herniated disc, about 10 mg to 20 mg hydrocone (generic vicodin) and 20 mg flexeril depending on the pain. I chose to stop taking both last week. I tapered down on each to one pill at night for one week 5 mg vicodin, 10 mg flexeril and was feeling a little anxious and depressed. I stopped it all the beginning of this week, having headaches, nausea, chills, anxiety and depression. The doctor and pharmacist both said at low doses like this I shouldn't be having any withdrawal symptoms. I've never abused either drug and at first didn't know what was wrong with me until I realized I could be having withdrawals and looked up the sympoms on the internet. Now I'm just feeling flu like and depressed and don't really like the way I feel. Is it possible to be slightly addicted at the low dose of vicodin and short time I took it? Is flexeril addictive? I looked online but can't find anything about short periods of vicodin or flexeril withdrawal.

  1. if you have flu conditions you are having withdrawlls you can do this you gonna be vrey irratible and mean just try to relax and notice it when it happens and think and relax!!!! drink lots of water< and flush your system, lay off the caffeine!! good luck!!

  2. I spoke to a pharmacist once about hydrocodone withdrawl.  He said that a person coming off of it, would have flu like symptoms, which sounds like what is happening to you.

The best part though is it will be better in a few days.
