Victoria BC-- Inexpensive Accommodations with POOL and Breakfast?

Question

My son and I are planning to go to Victoria BC and would like to stay near the downtown area at a place with a pool or hot tub, and the continental breakfast.

Does anyone know of a semi-inexpensive place? I have been searching and it is just an endless process, so if anyone knows of a place, please advise. PLEASE don't just give me a link to yet another search site.

Also if you know of any inexpensive downtown restaurants that a picky 11 year old boy would eat (standard food as opposed to fancy) please let me know this as well. Thank you very much.

Try this link for accomodations in Victoria.

Lots of restaurants in town.  There's a "Smitty's on Douglas Street downtown and a Dennys, also on Douglas but a little out of the downtown core.
