Victoria line?

Can somebody explain to me what the deal is with the Victoria line of the underground, is it running and at what times?

On the Victoria Line there is currently engineering works therefore it is closed this week, but the normal service should be back on Monday.

It's not running this weekend because of maintenance work but if you go along to your nearest Victoria line station a rail replacement bus service is running - it's goes to each station on the Victoria line.  Look for the people in the blue safety vests outside the station, they'll help you get on the right bus.

No, it's closed this weekend due to construction works.

VICTORIA LINE: On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 July, suspended throughout due to planned engineering works. Replacement buses will operate between Walthamstow Central and Finsbury Park, and between Victoria and Brixton.

It's not running this weekend due to engineering works.  It will be back up and running as usually during the week.  Be aware though that it closes around 10pm Mon - Thurs for engineering works.  You can get buses on rail replacement services.  Go to the tfl website for more info.

It closes early during the week, and is closed a lot of weekends.  They're replacing the trains, so need to do a lot of testing and trackwork to get ready.  check the TFL website (www.tfl.gov.uk) before you travel to see what the situation is before you travel.
