Why have Travis Cloke, Alan Didak, Dale Thomas, Dane Swan and Tarkyn Lockyer all been kicked out of the tribut match? is it becoz they are playing c**p?

not sure about that, little thomo, but it could be a form thing, there might be players in those positions that are playing better footy, at the moment. i haven't caught up with the news of the in's and out's for the game yet, so not real sure, if brown plays though, it's a joke, if it's form thing, he has done jack for weeks, including missing last week, so it's really a slap in the face for the boys who miss out because of form, cause he has none at the moment.

I don't know if those players have been "kicked out" or not. Maybe they chose the teams too soon because some of the players haven't had the greatest season thus far, despite how well they have played in previous years. I don't think that selectors can afford to put people out for that reason though because there seem to be quite a lot of injury woes. It doesn't look like Browny will be playing for one, and he's supposed to be captain!

I would have left out Cloke, Swan and  Lockyer.  But not Thomas and Didak.  They either know something we don't or Mick doesn't want to risk his best players.  Personally I reckon it's the latter.

Mickey doesn't like his players to play in these token games I wonder if he has had anything to do with it as I suppose they are all Collingwood players you mentioned.

Im guessing coz Mick wants his boys fit and well prepared for the games ahead.

Im glad they are out, we dont need more injuries when we have to play Geelong soon!!

PS:  They are NOT out of form - they are the top 5 players at Collingwood atm!

Travis Cloke, Jason Gram, Matthew Lloyd, Kane Johnson, Cameron Ling, Leigh Montagna, Adam Simpson, Dane Swan, Brent Stanton, Dale Thomas, Jeff White, David Wirrpunda and Dale Morris are all out of the Vic team. I have no idea why this has happened. My only guess would be form, or choice, because none of those names are injured
