Victorian School Holidays= Kid's V Parents?

Question

Do you have plans to keep the little angels occupied for the next 2 weeks.

I'm doing to the Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary, Melbourne Museum, Scienceworks

Do you have any other ideas of places in & around Melbourne to keep kids from getting too feral?

Don't forget to visit a local library. and spend plenty of time out doors, weather permitting. perhaps find a park and take a daily trip to let the kids expend a little energy.

Try to mix up indoor and outdoor time evenly.

you have covered the big ones. What about Grant's Reserve in the Dandenongs and fee the birds, there are great walks here too. Swimming (one of our plans) tomorrow we are going rollerskating and to the movies(Get smart...my choice). Wednesday we are seeing Disney on Ice Thursday catching up with friends, Friday they are going to play Racketball with friends. Going to go to the beach on the second week so we can go on the new tollway (while it is free). If you are doing two of the zoo's why not check if it is cheaper to go to all three zoos and included Werribie zoo? Mine are off to their Aunties for 3 days next week so they will go to the movies then too (kung fu panda ...what else lol) and probably do other things. There is also bowling,mini golf, lots of choices. Check out Melbournes Child for more ideas. Another great one is Sovereign hill. A bit of a drive but a brilliant time. We went in January and the kids went there on camp last month. They have a winter theme for these holidays. Luna Park has opened it rollercoaster again. There is the Aquarium but most tell me it is not worth the money. You could jump on a tram and go around the city. There may be something happening at burrung Marr. The circus is on near there too.

I have no idea what there is to do in Melbourne,but I wish that SLH/myself could come along...that would be so cool

Hi, can you get on the Internet and look up some places where kids can go and have fun? Just a thought. Good luck to you, you are in for a long 2 weeks, I wish i had the energy kids have.
