Victrix Gale expected to win Guinness Galway Blazers Handicap Chase
The A. J. Martin trained bay mare, Victrix Gale, is expected to notch up first position convincingly in the high-voltage race of the Guinness Galway Blazers Handicap Chase that will be held at Galway racecourse on Friday, August 3. The Irish contest of €16,250
will commence at 6:15 (GMT).
The six-year-old veteran sprinter is going to show her guts against 16 worthy competitors on the soft track of 2 miles and 6 furlongs. Her past experienced over soft grounds had been good enough. Thus, she will be able to adjust to the race conditions quite
comfortably.
Victrix Gale stunned her fans by winning the Cul Camps Limerick Handicap Chase against 15 strong competitors on May 20, 2012. Picking up a lot of confidence from this tremendous triumph, she moved ahead to claim the title of the John J.Galvin Handicap Hurdle
on June 4.
The maverick mare complete her first ever hat-trick by winning the www.thetote.com Galway Plate Trial Handicap Chase on July 8. These three tremendous triumphs have boosted up the mare’s morale to a great extent.
The brilliant daughter of Presenting out of Ballyclough Gale finished 4th in the 14-runner race of the Gigginstown House Midlands National Handicap Chase on July 20. That was her last start.
As a whole, the Badgers Syndicate owned talented sprinter has won 4 of her total 17 starts so far. Now, she is going to make a big impact in the coming contest. Her chances to thrive are as high as 90 percent.
However, Raz De Maree also seems to be a strong candidate who summed up a lot of confidence by finishing first in his last start named as Tuskar Rock Beginners Chase. The race took place at Wexford on July 11.
By and large, the D. T. Hughes trained chestnut gelding has three classic conquests to his name. It is predicted that the son of Shaanmer out of Diyala III will give enough tough time to Victrix Gale.
