Can anyone explain why this senario works:I connected the DVI output from a older Nvidia GeForce4 MX 32 Video Card in a PowerMac G4 (OS X ver 10.4.11) to the DVI input to a new HP w2207 monitor. I turned booted the computer and had no issues.From the specs on the card, I'm only suppose to be able to get max 1280 X 1024 digital resolution. Yet, when I check the settings for the display on the computer and monitor they both show the operating resolution is at the recommended 1680 X 1050 which seems plausible based on the quality of the display out. But, how can this be? Thanks,Steve
