  1. Why not use a Sony Vegas Pro Trial? http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/down...

I found Cyberlink Power Directer a good Editing program...And I don't think it costs anywhere near Sony Vegas, Heres a Trial link.

  2. Nero Ultra Edition or Roxio Easy Media Creator. They are around $100.

  3. Hi - It's a common problem, not wanting to pay the big bucks for things like Vegas pro. It might be worth trying some of the  numerous free editing tools for video instead:

    1) Wax

A free tool with powerful editing and compositing abilities.

    2) Video Spin

Video Spin is the free video editing tool from Avid.

    3) T@B ZS4

T2B ZS4 is a free video editing and compositing tool from Zwei-Stein. Its not for everyone, but it could be for you.

    4) Vivia

Vivia is a basic editing software which is currently being developed and is in Beta testing. If you are using Linux or Windows you might want to check this out

    5) Jahshaka

Jahshaka is a free multi-use offline editing tool. Although it is still fairly new on the market.

    6) Avidemux

One of the more stable and complete free tools available.

    7) Blender

Blender is a powerful, multi-use editing/compositing and modeling tool. It's one of the best on the market and it's free.

I would recommend Blender if you have time to learn it. It's very powerful but has a steep learning curve. Did I mention it's free?

Other than that you're into the 'big guns' such as Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro

Yahoo! Answers community guidelines prohibit me from posting the link to my web site which has a complete list of these tools. A quick look at my profile will yield that information, though.

    Thanks... Freevideoman
