Video Game Recording Help!?

Question

Can u record gameplay footage with this?

..like plug in the AV Cables to it then plug the recorders AV Cables to the TV?

I'm assuming you plug your videogames into the T.V. as normal, and then plug A/V cables from output on your T.V. to input on your recorder.
